The ECGs show here demonstrate selected leads from a patient with early repolarization (left) and a patient with pericarditis (right).

Note the notch at the end of the QRS complex in the patient with early repolarization and the more diffuse lead involvement and greater elevation of the ST segment in the patient with pericarditis.
