
Left ventricular hypertrophy and IV conduction abnormalities are just two of the multiple causes of electrocardiographic changes that mimic those caused by a myocardial infarction, changes also referred to as “pseudo-infarction patterns”. Shown here is a list of the most frequent causes of pseudo-infarction patterns. The last two categories, infiltrative diseases and myocardial fibrosis, include amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, tumors, myocarditis and the various cardiomyopathies.
