A second example of the ECG changes associated with acute pericarditis is shown here. The tracing, from a 57 year old patient, was recorded the day following cardiac surgery. Note again the diffuse elevation of the ST segment (except in aVR where it is depressed) and the hint of PR segment depression in lead II.
