This ECG is from a 22 year old male who also had a hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. The QRS complex is not widened and the QRS axis and P waves are normal. Howewver, the R and S wave amplitudes in the chest leads are above normal limits, even for a 22 year old and there are the marked T wave abnormalities that may occur in patients with this disease.
