The intraventricular conduction disturbances that occur only at shorter RR intervals (or faster rates) are one form of aberrant ventricular conduction. They indicate that at a particular rate or RR interval, one of the fascicles of the conducting system may become partially or totally refractory and either conduct slowly or be blocked.
