[ADD DOFETILIDE TO THE BOX] The effects of the class III drugs sotalol, amiodarone and dofetilide on the electrocardiogram are shown in this table. All three cause sinus bradycardia, lengthen the QT interval and cause ST and T wave changes. Amiodarone may also prolong the duration of the QRS complex, a manifestation of its class I effect, and sotalol, as mentioned above, is also a beta-adrenergic blocking agent.
